How many credits should we allocate to employees?

The number of credits to allocate to your employees depends on the budget your company plans to allocate. However, we recommend some best practices to maximize the effectiveness of this benefit.

  1. Minimum credits:
We recommend a minimum of 20 credits per employee. This threshold is based on experience, which shows that allocating fewer than 20 credits tends to demotivate employees from using the services. This could create a perception that FitKit is inaccessible or ineffective, which we aim to avoid.

  2. World Health Organization recommendation:
The WHO recommends a minimum of 150 minutes of physical activity per week for long-term health and well-being. For this reason, we usually advise companies to allocate 30 or more credits per employee. This amount ensures employees can meet the health recommendations.

  3. Flexibility with the Pay-Per-Use model:
If you choose the Pay-Per-Use model, you will only be charged for the credits used. Although the minimum allocation is 20 credits, if you allocate 30 and an employee uses none, you won’t be charged for unused credits. This means that, regardless of the minimum allocation, your costs will be based on actual usage.
